well, I'm also into fox shooting... that is why I want more magnification. This is only stalking and high seat rifle i have others for driven hunts. And don't know where you live but here moon isn't that bright :D With brightest of moons you only see siluets, and sometimes thats not good enough when background is dark. Sure illuminated dot is better but none of the scopes who got my eye on it hasn't got one :(
