The Redfield 3200 were good scopes years ago but everybody has made improvements since then.

I would get bases for the receiver and go with a more modern scope.

The rifle has bases, but they are spaced for the old 3200s, Unertl ect type scopes. The rifle do have some collectors value and that is why I am considering topping it with a Redfield 3200. I have no idea how good they are? I was hoping that someone on the forum might have some experience with these Redfields and can tell me how usable they are? If they do not perform well I will have to look at drilling a 3rd set of holes for a modern scope.
