Thank you, but I would still prefer if somebody who has the scope would put a ruler accross the front of it it real fast. I simply don't trust metric postings from brochures.
Yes, I too have seen these stats posted in the literature of just about all scopes being sold, but 50mm is a very generic number being used by many manufacturesrs as in "8x-32 x 50mm" for example.While 53mm is more specific, I still trust and comprehend a good ole American number like 1 7/8" or 2 1/16" much better.
