Hello all.
At the Uni im doing a large task about hunting optics. I've come to the "Alpha optics part". Something like this:
Is there any noticeable differnce in the very high end of hunting scopes? Here I think S&B Zenith, Swaro z6, and the new Zeiss HT.
Isn't it just a matter of what reticle you like the best, or what name sounds cooler to you?
I know that brands like Zeiss and others do everything to make their product seem to be the best. Zeiss says: New HT brigthest scope and finest red dot in the world.
But if you took the 3 scopes I mentioned and put them side to side together, without any logos on them, would you then be able to tell a difference? other than different magnification, reticle etc.?
S&B is very popular but dont do any fancy marketing it seems? I mean they dont have any fancy named stuff as SWAROBRIGHT, LOUTEC and so on. But just plain good glass it seems.
This is what i plan on writing down so just wanna ask the "profs in here" if it is close to correct :)
