I've used man (custom turrets or "calibrated" turrets - "calibrated", translated from the Greek for "almost correct."I have also used custom turrets, they work well if it is your data and nothing changes.

Let the guy get it. When it doesn't work out, get a lightly used scope for a big discount. After you buy it, say "I told you so."
