Though, a short lesson in evolution, rattlers now don't rattle so much. If the explosion of pigs in Texas, the pigs are eating all the rattlesnakes they can find - meaning the ones they hear. The net effect is that the non-rattling rattlers are disproportionally reproducing - meaning quieter killing machines.
It is a great area to hunt, big deer!
