I'm not familiar with that scope, but on any mil dot reticle that you plan on using for varmints I'd recommend either getting the specs on the reticle or getting one in hand and looking thru it (preferably both) to see if it will work for you on varmints. I'm a fan of mil dots and have had a couple different ones -- on some, the dots were great for hold-overs on larger targets, but too large for prairie dogs. Depending on the application that particular scope/reticle was designed for, it may work for what you want, or may not. (The computer generated reticle schematics you see on scope websites are not necessarily very good indications of what the reticle actually looks like when behind the scope, so beware there.)
