Hello!
I just wanted to know how could i test rifle scopes for their optical quality. I have good eyes, but i would love to take this to a cuantitative level. For examply is there a way how mucho chromatic aberration a scope has? can i put a number on the CA? what about the resolution? should I search for other things too?
I was thinking about using an ISO 12233 chart:

And then take photos with the different scopes and see.
The problem might be different zooms on the scopes. And even at same "x" zoom seems not all scopes have the same "image size", so how can i cope with that?
Thanks!
