Not to derail the thread too much, but a few years ago Nebraska Game & Parks hired a helicopter and took out 200-300 hogs (can't remember the exact number) along the Republican River down by Alma. I've talked to people that deer hunt in that area and they've been seeing them off & on for quite a few years. There have also been reports of feral hogs in Platte County. I've got a feeling they'll start becoming a problem in the near future.

To the OP's question...I don't have any experience with that particular scope, but I do venture to Texas every year to kill a few hogs and all I can say is any quality scope with good low-light performance will serve you well.
