With that price budget here are some suggestions
The bold #4 is illuminated but still bold enough when not turned on a quick 10yd shot wouldn't be to hard.

With that price budget here are some suggestions
One thing I noticed is you said "bear" and "10yds". That is to close for me on dangerous game for anything over 1X. I'd look at something like this -
