I agree with CF2 on this.
We sat down and compared a few 1-6x optics.

The Razor is is an oustanding optic. There are a few things, personally, I didnt like.

1.The image on 1x has a rolling ball, fish eye effect to it. I believe this is due to the larger ocular lens used to enhance FOV.
2. I feel the reticle is better suited for longer range shots, and lacks in the CQ aspect.
3. The eyebox was a bit tight, but not to bad overall.
4. A little bit more bulky than I like.

I do like the glass quality and image brightness. It is definitely high-end glass.
Overall build quality is great. No durability worries on this for sure!

We also took a look at Leupold's VX-6 1-6x Multigun.

I really like this one. 1x was flat and true, glass was very good. Not as good as the Razor, but still very good. Weight and size were no issue either. It is sleek and not to hefty. The Leupold reticle was a little better in the CQ aspect because they utilized a large circle in conjunction with the center red dot. This draws my eye and really pulls me to the target better than just a single dot.

Lastly, the SS 1-6x.

To me, it has all the qualities I would look for in an optic like this. The whole reason optics manufactures began making a 1-4, 1-6 or 1- whatever was for one reason. To be able to use it on 1x for CQ situations, but still have the ability crank up the magnification for more precise shots at longer ranges. To me, its a dual-purpose setup.
The SS has the true, flat 1x like the Leupold. The reticle is a larger, red-illuminated circle that pulls you to your target. Just the same as an EOTech does. But since its FFP, the reticle will grow with magnification.

On 6x, you now have a full mil-scale reticle with no ring in your sight picture. So, pretty much, the entire reticle completely transforms. This gives you the best of both world's rolled up into one.

Oh, and the price points are another big factor to me.
Razor: $1,399.95
Leupold: $949.95
SS: $999.95

Sorry, it got long winded. There's my .02
