I never saw one or heard of one of them before. It's a half-inch scope ( it looks like ), and we in the USA would have called it a "22 scope" back in the sixties. Obviously the funny looking mounts are the external adjustments for the thing. So...all we know is it's a PIC, it's Japanese, and it's 4X.

I doubt if even Nick Stroebel would know what it is. He wrote the book OLD RIFLE SCOPES. It is not in his book.
