Rifle Scopes : Vortex Razor Gen II 4.5 X 27 vs Beast

Hi,  I am a first time poster to this site and am looking for advice based on experience.  I have read and re-read everything out there about these two scopes.  I am looking for help in deciding between the Beast and The Vortex Gen II.  I am waiting for a new build- 300 Norma mag, Manner T4A stock, Benchmark Barrel, Jewell trigger. Defiance action.  I read Ilya's excellent review on the Razor Gen II and Lowlight's cursory overview of the Beast and videos.  I am a novice long range shooter/hunter.  I have the equipment and knowledge to shoot ELR but not much experience.  I have a great mentor, so I feel confident in the future.  My mentor is sold out on Vortex.  My experience thus far has been with Nightforce NXS 5.5 X 22.  I would love to see Ilya review the beast!  what I am wondering is, if it is a coin toss or would there be an advantage to one over the other?
