Hey guys,

I thought I would give you some info. I have compared all three. Im actually quite surprised nobody has been commenting on this. I've looked through a lot of vortex's and a lot of nikons and own both brands so im not a biased/annoying vortex guy. I have a Christensen arms 7mm RM, I put a Viper 6-24 PST on it and took an elk last year at 650 yards. I have a Monarch (gifted to me) on a varmint rifle. I don't love the nikon and you have to be scared too because who hasnt dropped a gun and ruined a scope or dinged it up? Nikon is the scariest company to buy from IMO absolutely HORRID warranties.

The vortex tracks PERFECT and repeatably ( my bro and friend have vipers w/o turrets that they use to dial long range with and know they track perfectly as well) Nikon.... cough..  doesnt they are maddening to sight in a gun with.. especially in the cold.

I am in the process of buying a cheaper hunting rifle, one that i dont mind banging up. I will buy the Meopta meopro 6-18x50 when i save up the man fund a little more. the meopta's glass is brighter and more clear than both the nikon and the vortex. im sure it handles low light better than both as well. It appears brighter side by side. only looked through them and have never dialed with one so i have no idea on that aspect. Meopta is a great company though.
