I have both, a Lite in 270 and a hunter in 308, and the hunter is appreciably heavier.

I have both, a Lite in 270 and a hunter in 308, and the hunter is appreciably heavier.
My Lite wears a 3-9 Swaro, and the Hunter a 3-9 Trijicon, I don't venture into heavy scopes on light-weight guns.
And, making it even more complicated, what throws off balance for me might be fine for you.
Lastly, the T3 Lite stock is only marginally better than that absolute abomination that is the Remington plastic stock; the hunter stock is worlds better. As I get older, shedding pounds where possible is a good thing for a walkabout rifle, but I find that the plastic stocks go in the trash (usually) and I spend more money on a stock that might weigh more but fits the shooter better.
