Of course Zeiss Victory is top-notch, by any measure!

Just because the HT series was introduced doesn't in any way diminish the excellence of the legacy Victory series scopes and binos.

As always, new "improved" versions of high-end optics represent small, incremental improvements, not huge improvements. Zeiss says the HT has noticeably improved light transmission, but the standard Victory scopes and binos already had better low light performance than most optics you can buy.

Are you considering buying a Zeiss Victory scope? In another thread, you seemed to have narrowed your decision down to either a Kahles C or Swarovski Z6i.

Any of the flagship scopes from Zeiss, Swarovski, Leica, Kahles, Schmidt & Bender, and a few others are awesome, and choosing which is "better" all boils down to personal preference. A good argument can be made that any of them could be considered "better" than the others in one respect or another. They are all world-class. Pick based on which scope has features, reticle, and specs you prefer, and you won't go wrong.
