I have wasted ammo and time on the Z3, adjustments are crap, I shoot a group and find that the group is centered but 1 inch high at 200 yards, make the adjustment, the bullet impact does move down 1 inch but now the group center is 2 inches left at 200 yards, same thing happens when I adjust the windage, the bullet impact changes where I put it but throws the elevation off again.

Scope is mounted properly, rifle gets no more than 20 shots through it before it is cleaned (including copper) fouled with 3 shots and try groups again. I am trying to sight it in dead center at 200 yards so I can use the BRH reticle at other ranges. Gun is a Sendero with proven ammo, recoil lug of the HS stock has been glass bedded, yes action screws are tight, rings and bases are tight and rings were lapped-its not the gun.

Shooting has been off a rock solid concrete shooting bench with quality sandbags/rest.

This has happened the last two range trips.

Finally got the rifle printing about 1" high at 200 yards and the three shot group is centered but about 2.5 MOA. If its this bad at 200 I cant imagine what its going to be like at 400/500 yards.

The scope is going back to Swarovski, this is unacceptable for a $1000 class scope IMO.

So you were getting roughly 1" groups at 200yds and now you are getting roughly 5" groups at 200yds? What scope were you using before?

What rings are you using and what did you torque them to?
