I just get hold of a Victory Diavari in 1,5-6x42 with the #4 reticle, NIB to a very reasonable price
Last one on the shelf, all new HT coming in.

I have three of these scopes now; 3-12x56 with illuminated #40 for low light hunting, a 2,5-10x50 #4 on my .308 Win /Kimber Montana, and now the 1,5-6x42  #4 on my .375 Ruger African.
All with the Lotu Tec coating which is a blessing where I live.
Exellent scopes, and as mentioned above, we can hunt deer and moose all night as long as we can see and make a safe shot.

About hunting in Europe beeing an upper class activity, well Europe is so many different things.
In the Scandinavian countries hunting is a great pass time for the common man and farmers.
The landowners have the hunting right on their land, and for some the annual moose or deer season is a great family get together thing.
One often see three generations around the camp fire.

Some land owners (farmers) lend out their hunting rights, others do the actual hunting them selfs assisted by friends or relatives.
Where I live, most of  the hunting is done by ordinary working blue collars;  farmers, carpenters, fishermen, construction workers...you name it.
On the Continental Europe things are very different, as well as on the British Isles.
