Well, first of all your Ruger should be 'scope base-ready' already on the receiver....you shouldn't need to do any drilling...

Well, first of all your Ruger should be 'scope base-ready' already on the receiver....you shouldn't need to do any drilling...
The Redfield 3200 were good scopes years ago but everybody has made improvements since then.
I would get bases for the receiver and go with a more modern scope.
