Subject: Can i fly with a scope?

Not sure where to post this, so here it is posted :
I'm flying back to Germany in a few days, and have a scope Ive been meaning to mail over to get some warranty work.
Since I'm actually going, can I take my scope in my carry on, or will customs/zoll freak out?
